Announcement time has finally come and this news is BIG. After thirteen years in New York City, my family is off on an exciting new adventure. This summer, we’ll be moving to my hometown of Lyon, in the southeast of France.
Living in New York has been the experience of a lifetime. It’s where I met so many amazing people, explored different career paths, had my two daughters, and fulfilled my lifelong dream of starting my own creative business. Over the years, I’ve felt so inspired by the American can-do attitude and the omnipresent spirit of entrepreneurship. If it weren’t for New York, I’m not sure Camille D. would be what it is today!
Now I’m beyond excited for what comes next: a return to my roots, and to a city I’ve always loved. I look forward to the fantastic food available everywhere in Lyon, to rediscovering its beautiful architecture, and to being close to family again.
Of course, the Camille D. adventure continues! My dream is to find the perfect combination of a studio and boutique, so stay tuned for updates later this summer.
