Recently, we took you through our jewelry making process, from sourcing vintage lace to putting the final touches to our pieces. There are many other things that go into running a small business so, today, we thought we’d share a non-exhaustive list of what we do, in and out of our Brooklyn atelier. In no particular order, we: Scour flea markets or yard sales for vintage lace. We love chatting with the stall owners to learn more about the fabric’s origin. Take pretty pictures. We explained how we select each piece of lace, seal it, prepare it for molding with an electrolysis bath, and cut it into the final shapes.
