We love beautifully made things, but not as much as we love our planet. In 2020, it’s easier than ever to look good while doing good (and feeling good about it ;-). Want to know more about how we keep jewelry making clean, green, and loving? Here it goes: Vintage InspirationIt all begins with scouring flea markets (and grandmothers’ attics) for a starting point. If our lace patterns look so intricate and unique, it’s because they come from genuine vintage pieces, which we use to create our own molds. Just another reason why you won’t see lace jewelry like ours anywhere else. Next Stop, BrooklynWe hand make every piece of jewelry in our Brooklyn atelier, which is furnished with thrift...
The fun part of making our jewelry by hand is that we can experiment as much as we want. Whenever inspiration strikes we like to sketch things up ✍🏻, pull out our tools, and play around. Sometimes we’ll create something we love but want to make again in a different pattern or size, or with different stones.💎Other times, designing a piece gives us ideas for other styles and, being a small business with a dedication to quality, we can’t produce them all in multiples. That’s why we’re introducing our One of a Kind section. We won’t make these again, which means these pieces are completely unique. Talk about a special treat!✨So if you see something you like, snap it up...

Favorite coffee shop: Oslo on Roebling StreetThere are many contenders for best coffee in Brooklyn, but a day doesn’t feel complete unless it started here. Favorite cultural spot: The Brooklyn MuseumNot as crowded as The Met, but just as packed with must-see exhibitions. The recent David Bowie retrospective was simply amazing and we can’t wait to revisit Pierre Cardin in this beautiful space. ...
This month I’ve been thinking a lot about the women in my life, and how their love, influence, and support lead me to where I am today. Last time I spoke about my grandmother (the first female flight attendant at Air France) and today I want to share a story about my mom, Christiane Darde. Kiki, as we all call her, grew up in a big country house in Chevigne, Burgundy the last of six children. From a young age, she was attracted to all things special: from striking decorations to refined cuisine. She taught me to enjoy beautiful objects and to take pleasure in work done, not just well, but perfectly.Raising three children of her own, she spent all...
